When
gas generator are running in low-temperature environments, the following points should be noted:
1. Body insulation: Low temperatures in winter can easily cause excessive cooling of the generator set during operation, so insulation is the key. Especially in northern regions, cold-proof equipment such as insulation sleeves and insulation curtains should be equipped.
2. Fuel selection: Light diesel with low freezing point and good ignition performance should be used in winter to ensure good fluidity of the fuel at low temperatures. A fuel heater can be used to increase the fuel temperature and ensure smooth fuel supply.
3. Antifreeze selection: Antifreeze must be used, and the concentration of antifreeze should be checked regularly. It is forbidden to use untreated water as coolant.
4. Low-temperature start: When starting under low-temperature conditions, it should be run at low speed for 3-5 minutes to increase the temperature of the entire machine, check the working condition of the lubricating oil, and confirm that it is normal before it can be put into normal operation.
5. Filter replacement: Due to the poor working environment under low temperature conditions, the air filter and diesel filter need to be replaced frequently to reduce engine wear and extend the life of the diesel engine.
6. Regular maintenance: Keep the generator housing clean, replace the filter and engine oil regularly to ensure the normal operation of the generator set.
Through the above measures, the normal operation of the gas generator in a low temperature environment can be better guaranteed and its service life can be extended.
